    Sunday, November 29th, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

We will explore the great traditions of Unitarianism and Universalism and related movements such as Transcendentalism, which included Margaret Fuller’s challenge to binary sexuality in 1845, Suffragettes such as Susan B. Anthony, Abolitionists such as Frederick Douglass, and opponents of Indigenous Peoples removal such as the famous Unitarian minister Ralph Waldo Emerson. This great tradition reminds us of the high ideals toward which we imperfectly stumble. (Weekly Sunday Sessions - Long Term)

Chalica is a week-long celebration of our Unitarian Universalist Principles. The holiday first emerged in 2005 out of a wish to have a holiday organized around Unitarian Universalist values.

Chalica begins on the first Monday in December and lasts seven days. Each day, a chalice is lit and the day is spent reflecting on the meaning of that day’s principle and doing a good deed that honors that principle.
